Class Schedule / Description
NO CLASS JULY 29 TO AUGUST 19. CLASSES RESUME AUGUST 26.
- Ongoing Beginner / Intermediate - Tuesday, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This class is ideal for anyone with little to no dance experience. Students are
introduced to the basic steps used in belly dance. Classes include some basic choreography
to reinforce learning and to teach you how to coordinate the steps with traditional and
modern Middle Eastern dance music.
- Intermediate / Advanced -
This class takes place when rehearsing for shows and
recitals. It also is ongoing but the day is determined according to the availability of the group.
Any addition to this group is based on the learning skills of the new dancer.
This level focuses on more complex dance steps, drills intended to improve your skills and
abilities, and different styles of belly dance and belly dance fusion. These classes
are designed to help you become a more proficient dancer.
- Workshops - Samadhia organizes workshops to learn the use of different props such as
swords, candles, veils, chandelier, different styles of dance and etc. Check back for date
of the next workshop.
- Private Lessons are also available upon request. Contact
Samadhia for details.
Price Schedule
- 4 week session - $60.00
- $15.00 per drop in class
- Classes are held on a regular basis; however students are welcome to drop in at any time.
